The Philippine representatives welcome the delegates of the 22nd meeting of the APEC Automotive Dialogue (AD) held at the Dusit Thani Hotel, Ayala Center, Makati City from 22 to 24 April 2015. This year’s Automotive Dialogue adopted the theme “Integrating SMEs into the Automotive Global Value Chains.” More than 140 participants from government and private sector of 12 member economies attended the forum. Mills Jr., Philippine Board of Investments (BOI) Supervising Director Ma. Corazon H. Halili-Dichosa, SOM Vice Chair Undersecretary Ferdinand Cui Jr., and Philippine BOI Heavy Industries Division Chief Amelito E. Umali. The APEC Automotive Dialogue is a venue for APEC member economy officials and senior industry representatives to collaborate in the formulation of strategies to bring to a higher level the integration and development of the automotive sector within the region. This is one of the series of APEC meetings being convened in the country culminating with the holding of the APEC Summit Meeting in November. (DTI-PRU)
