Usman led a 6-member Pakistani business delegation that intends to explore business opportunities in the Philippines and strengthen economic ties between the Philippines and Pakistan. Manalo said that the country is looking at strong economic growth, import, export and industrial opportunities with focus on strong manufacturing growth. The FPCCI is a private umbrella trade organization composed of 48 Chambers of Commerce and Industry in Pakistan. It has links to more than 100 trade associations in the country and has 1000 sub-committees. In 2013, total trade between the two countries only stood at US$90.34 million. Pakistan is ranked as the Philippines’ 49th trading partner.
