Last 8 may 2014, PPP Center ED Cosette Canilao was in Parliament House in Sydney to sign an MOU with Infrastructure New South Wales (INSW) CEO Mr. Jim Betts. The MOU formalizes a twinning arrangement between the PPP Center and INSW, covering exchange of knowledge, experiences, and best practices in the area of public private partnerships (PPP). The exchanges can be through peer-to-peer technical exchanges, on-the-job training and exchanges, other activities such as round-table discussions, on-site visits, among others.

After the MOU signing there was a roundtable discussion on Philippine and NSW experiences in PPP as well as presentations of case studies of PPP in both countries.

The signing was witnessed by the Hon. Victor Dominello MP, Minister for Citizenship and Communities, Aborignal Affairs, and Veterans Affairs; Philippine Consul General to Sydney Hon. Anne Jalandoon-Luis; Philippine Commercial Consul to Australia Emmanuel Ang; President of ANZCHAM Philippines Ian Porter; and PPP Center officer Jeffrey Manalo. Other Australian witnesses were Australian Ambassador to the Philippines H.E. Bill Tweddell; Australian Austrade Senior Trade Commissioner to the Philippines Anthony Weymouth; INSW ED Erin Flaherty; Treasury Infrastructure Financing Unit Director Amy Brown; and ED of the Office of International Engagement of the NSW Premier and Cabinet Susan Calvert.
