A special citation or the eco-design award was also given to Bambike Revolution Cycles for the bambike. In every edition of Manila FAME, DTI and CITEM recognizes exporters and designers whose products embody Filipino talent and creativity. The Katha Awards, the seal of Philippine design excellence, aims to inspire Philippine exporters and designers to innovate and develop designs and products that are competitive in the global market.
