JCCI Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) Undersecretary Ponciano C. Manalo, Jr. emphasizes the readiness of the Philippines as a global investment destination before 100 top-level executives of Japanese companies during the Philippines-Japan Economic dialogue on February 5, 2015 at the Shangri-La in Makati City. The Japanese business delegation intends to advance the bilateral economic relations between the two countries, and explore business opportunities for a number of large firms and small and medium scale enterprises of the Japanese Chamber of Commerce and Industry (JCCI). The JCCI is a network of comprehensive local economic organizations. It is composed of 514 regional chambers in Japan and 79 chapters outside Japan. It is the largest business organization in Japan, and an influential organization in the country’s economic circles. The business mission ran from February 4 to 7, 2014. (DTI-PRU)
