DescriptionThe FAB is open to developers of industrial estates to partner with existing locators/enterprises within/around the FAB; or to become locators themselves and develop an area within/around the FAB to become a manufacturing hub designed to accommodate production in garments, accessories, shoes and other similar products.

Immediate development of these FAB areas, whether directly partnering with the FAB or a private enterprise, will ensure that lands are developed within the specifications that would enable manufacturing industries to operate immediately in order to take advantage of growing trends and requirements in the international market.

The FAB recently approved the development of a 10 hectare private Industrial Estate. This Industrial Estate, under JinYing Star, seeks to primarily attractinvestors/locators in the manufacturing sector – especially those in garments, accessories, shoes and other similar products.

The Authority of the Freeport Area of Bataan (AFAB) is offering industrial areas for industrial estate development to accommodate businesses/locators of garments, accessories, shoes and other similar products. The developer will be able to enjoythe superior advantages that FAB offers – an emerging strong value/supply chain; low electricity; low utility cost (especially for water requirements); skilled and educated labor pool; etc.

The FAB currently has a locator –Jinying Star - that is developing a 10 hectare land to primarily host manufacturing businesses. The FAB encourages private partnerships to ensure that the said proposed estate will provide a haven for industries to thrive and flourish.

Profile of proponent

The AFAB is the FAB’s dedicated governing authority under the Office of the President of the Philippines. It is tasked to ensure and promote the viability/success of businesses in theFAB. Touted as the emerging Fashion Manufacturing Hub of the Philippines, it boasts of abudding value/supply chain in the field of high-end fashion manufacturing, leveraging its advantages like low electricity rates and utility costs, skilled and educated labor pool, etc.
