Department of Trade and Industry’s (DTI) Industry Promotion Group Officer-in-Charge and Board of Investments (BOI) Executive Director Raul V. Angeles (second from right) receives a token from Thailand-Philippines Business Council Chairman Visit Limprana (center) during a courtesy call on September 15, 2014 at the Industry and Investments Building in Makati City. Limprana led a 19-member delegation composed of officers of the Thailand Board of Investment (Thai BOI), and industry association leaders particularly in the banking and textile industries. The delegation aims to explore business opportunities in the Philippines in line with the full integration of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) economy by 2015. During their meeting, Angeles said that now is the right time to come to the Philippines. He also mentioned the influx of investment missions to the country and the on-going changes in government with good governance as country’s embodiments in enabling businesses.
