The Department of Trade & Industry (DTI) is further strengthening its partnership with the private sector in crafting and implementing industry roadmaps. In the gathering of industry champions organized by the DTI’s Board of Investments (BOI), DTI Secretary Gregory Domingo (middle) said the implementation of industry roadmaps is critical for the country to sustain its strong economic performance and achieve inclusive growth. The industry road map initiative which involves the crafting of strategies to promote the growth of specific industries is being pursued as it plays a big role in the government's aim to sustain the country's positive economic performance and make the growth beneficial to everyone including the poor. Secretary Domingo underscored the importance of strengthening government’s partnership with the private sector to regularly update the roadmaps and ensure that strategies outlined remain relevant.
