Department of Trade and Industry Undersecretary Nora K. Papua New Guinea has about 80 percent of its 7.8 million population living in the provinces where the crafts on display are manufactured. This event is part of the APEC Policy Partnership on Women and the Economy (PPWE) 1 Meeting recently held in Papua New Guinea. This three-day meeting aims to draft policy suggestions to enhance women businesses and general state of women in businesses in the 21 APEC economies. Terrado also invited APEC representatives to come to the Women and the Economy Forum in Manila from September 16 to18, 2015. (DTI-PRU)
