October 29 to 30, 2013 – Coconut wine, produced by Vino de Coco, was featured at this year’s 2013 China Overseas Investment Fair (COIFAIR) in Beijing on October 29 to 30, 2013.Vino de Coco’s sample products, featuring dry, sweet white, and sweet red coconut wines.
At the said fair, Philippine Coconut Authority (PHILCOA) Deputy Administrator Roel M. Rosales delivered a keynote address on overview of the Philippine agricultural sector, as well as the trade and investment opportunities of Philippine agricultural industry.
The Philippine delegation, led by Philippine Coconut Authority (PHILCOA) Deputy Administrator Roel M. Rosales, paid a courtesy call on H.E. Erlinda F. Basilio on 30 October 2013.
Chinese enterprises/businessmen were particularly interested in establishing business linkages with Philippine agro-based companies, selling agricultural machinery, and importing sea weed products and coconut-based products.
