Participating exhibitors of the Likha ng Central Luzon Trade Fair 2015 gained a total of Php 12.05 Million in sales for the first four (4) days at the Old Glorietta Activity Center in Makati City.

Department of Trade and Industry Regional Office III (DTI-3) Regional Director Judith P. Angeles said that the initial figures are still expected to rise in the next five (5) days of exhibit. The trade fair runs from September 23 and open until October 1, 2015.

Likha ng Central Luzon Trade Fair features the exhibit by more than 110 Micro Small and Medium Enterprises from the region of quality items such as food products, furniture and handicrafts, novelty items, household and Christmas decors.

A Pampanga seller of homemade nuts bagged more than Php 1.5 Million in sales in the initial run of the trade fair, while a handicraft maker earned about Php 1.38 Million. A bag maker from Bulacan sold almost Php 600 thousand worth of products in only four (4) days of the trade fair.

Likha ng Central Luzon is staged annually and is now on its 17th year. By introducing the region’s products to Metro Manila buyers, exhibitors have expanded their market base and have contracted institutional buyers for their products. (END)
