To promote philbeauty 2015 happening in Manila on July 8, 2015, its organizer UBM Exhibitions recently staged a Philippine beauty trade seminar and networking session in Singapore. Supported by the Spa and Wellness Association Singapore (SWAS), Chamber of the Cosmetics Industry of the Philippines president Anna Anastacio shared latest market trends and sources of future market growth for the industry. Philippine Trade & Investment Centre (PTIC)-Singapore Commercial Counsellor Glenn Peñaranda was also invited to speak on the Philippines’ growing economy and business opportunities.

SWAS members and other industry players attended the event held at the Suntec Singapore Convention & Exhibition Centre.

In a Euromonitor International research, more imported brands in various beauty and personal care categories entered the Philippine market in 2013. Data shows this is attributed to improving income levels in urban areas, exposure to foreign brands via the internet, and more affluent consumers’ demand for higher quality products.

Making its debut in Manila, philbeauty 2015 is a gateway for beauty industry professionals to be kept up to date with the latest innovations and current trends in the industry. The 3-day exhibition will feature a variety of beauty products, services, technological solutions, workshops, knowledge seminars and networking opportunities.
