Update on DTI’s MSME Programs and Projects. Department of Trade & Industry (DTI) Secretary Gregory Domingo updated the listening public on the ongoing programs and projects of the Department for the micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) during his guesting at Negosyo Atbp. radio program recently (September 16, 2015). “Aside from our SME Roving Academy and Shared Services Facilities Program, we also have Negosyo Centers nationwide ready to serve MSMEs on their concerns on access to market and financing, business advisory services, capability building, and other support services,” Secretary Domingo said. At the regional front, Secretary Domingo who is also the current chair of the APEC Ministers Responsible for Trade (MRT) said, “APEC Trade Ministers initiated a strong bid to bring MSMEs to the front and center of the global trade agenda,” adding that this resulted in the formulation of the Boracay Action Agenda to Globalize MSMEs that will be submitted to the APEC Leaders for their approval come November 2015. Negosyo Atbp. is a business education radio program hosted by DTI Undersecretary Zenaida Maglaya and Former Congressman Angelo Palmones.
